The Grand Raid is a SIB. Just curious how these tubes would be used for a RIB? Are you trying to glue them on?

Since the Grand Raid is an Ali floored SIB, I imagine there are far more floor boards out there with crusty old failed tubes than there are good tubes with the rest of the boat failed. Really the only other thing beside the tubes which could go wrong are the front 2 wooden floor boards or the transom. And any Grand Raid with functioning tubes but rotten floor or transom is probably worth more restored than it is as a replacement tube set.

FYI Guy at Polaris in Langley BC makes replacement hypalon tubes. He may already have a pattern for your hull too.

My boat is an early hurricane which was a gr mk3 tube set bolted on a hurricane hull. Made in B.C. before Zodiac bought Hurricane out. the rope set to bolt on the GR Tubes is hypolon but the tubes were those experimental years that they used PVC for the grand Raid. Used GR MK3 is cheaper then a new tube set and nobody has the pattern as its exacly the GR MK3. bit of a pickle but love my boat.

Thanks

Oh I didn't realize how this all fit together

Polaris is supposedly cheaper than Zodiac (2 people have told me that) so you might luck out with aftermarket tubes.
