Eco XR24

Are you looking for new or second hand? What do you expect to use the boat for? Our new Eco XR24 will take up to 250hp. It is economical to run with less power, or makes a fast boat with 225 to 250hp. Please have a look at www.eco-marine.co.uk

looks like they've made at least one hull, this doesn't look like a computer image to me...

and they appear to be selling a demo boat so unless they are selling off plan!!...

but agree, some proper pics on the website would be a good idea

surprisingly we get 57 58mph out of our 7m xs rib with a 200hp opti on it. check the hull well but itl go like the clappers! most 6-7m ribs will shift with 250hp on them, but if your looking for out and out speed marc pascoe ribs or some of the ribs by a designer called Adam younger are some of the fastest around. not as cheap usualy.

Eco XR24

We haven't built an Eco XR24 yet - but the photo on the website is a real hull skin we've made, for making a new mould. The hull and deck moulds are ready for use. We've just completed the jockey seat moulds. The new double console is full of curves, so we're getting the buck CNC'd. Its mould should be ready by the end of February.

Bearing in mind that Eco-Marine is new and customers will very reasonably want to know they are getting a good quality product that works, we're relying on the established track record of the XR24 and we'll sub-contract the hull and tubes to well-known companies. We had planned to have a demo boat ready for Ribex, but that deadline is now looking too tight. The offer of a demo boat is completely genuine though. We'd like to build a boat for a customer, which can be used for a magazine review, possible attendance at a show and an occasional demo trip for new customers. In return, we can offer a hefty discount.

Here is one of our BananaSharks fitted with a 225 Optimax, we have fitted up to a 250 Verado which went well over 60mph, The pictured boat is owned by a member on here. The Verado 250 boat is up for sale by the owner, and I may be able to split it if you want to fit the XS?

Or we could do you a new one?
