I've erm won a few things. Nothing in rib racing though. Came 8th in Scotland I think.

I'm happy with that as it was my first ever race in a rib.

I've allowed you to keep posting here, in the hope that you might be able to take a hint, but maybe that was a mistake.

There are plenty of people here who I am sure would be very happy to help you, but you really do need to meet them half way. Try telling us a bit more about yourself, your background, and what your plans are. Then we may be able to give you some useful information. Try doing some background reading too (you may have done this already, but it's not showing).

As you've got off to a bad start you are going to need to try a bit harder to convince people that you aren't a complete time waster. It's down to you though.

OK I have not only raced but won a British championship and broken speed records - We (BananaShark) also make race Ribs and hard boats of different sizes, so I'm fairly sure I can help you - can you give me the following information - I don't require every detail but some answers would be helpful:

Budget
Size
Speed
Inboard / Outboard
Petrol / Diesel
RB11 and or RB12
Number of crew
Pure raceboat or leisure use also

I think that would help me suggest either one of our boats or something else that would be suitable - Boatmad is better for racing, but it is much more hard boat orientated.

I think one of the model Banana sharks might be more in his price range. He might get a job during the summer holidays and afford a nitro engine for it.
