andy, i think you should drop the twin engine thing and the radar, they are way to big to fit on anything around 4m. why don't you buy a searider or keep saving your pennys?

I'm looking for a searider, I have droped the twin engine thing man, and radar! But I will kit my rib out with all the proper electronics! With two radios! I'm not just looking at 4m I did say 4+ that doesn't give an exact just an starter! I want a searider!

I wouldn't go that far mate, its cause I like to monitor more than two channels......I'll tell the truth on amazing open disscusion, I wasn't told 'who' droped the VHF in the drink! I would talk to someone who had more knowledge of wat happened, I just knw that it was dropped! Sorry! I can find out who did it for you, and name and shame on here! Just for you!

Buy a VHF that has a scan facility.

Most VHF's have them know, but you loose some of the convo! Plus I want to have a 2 way mobile radio built in as well with handhelds, its gonna have a lot of aeriels on my boat wen I get one! Soon hopefully!

You can only listen to one conversation at a time. Buy a fixed VHF and a handheld.
Why do you need personal radios?
