There is an Avon 5.5 or 5.8 fitted with a Mariner 90 lying at Inverkip Marina (in the dingy park) that was/is for sale. I know the boat and it has done very very little.

Hi there, I have a 5.25 meter Deep V Osprey Viper with a 100hp Suzuki (2 stroke) elec start, oil ijection, with power tilt and trim. 4hp Suzuki back up engine like new, Gps, Fishfinder, VHF, Inboard fuel tank, centre console, A frame, bilge pump, bottle rack etc etc etc. All on a galvanised Hallmark roller coaster trailer. I am looking for £7,400 for the package which is all year 2000 and is in excellent condition.

A couple of weeks ago Ardoran Marine had a 5-ish M Osperey with a dead Johnson 100 (I think - didn't pay too much attention as it wouldn't go through my garage door) I think he said it could be split, but don't qote me on that..... Trailer was in good nick corrosion wise, no idea about the bearings tho'.

If he'll split it, that might give you a reasonable budget for an engine the size you're after?

been putting it off for a while now, but I may have a 4.8m Humber Alpha for sale, 55hp Yamaha 2 stroke, runs like a wee sweety, just got a new prop put on, also has a 2 man jockey, and brand new vhf, very sturdy A Frame, nav lights etc, its garaged over the winter and spotless when it comes out to play
