4th, aside of the price, it’s obviously specialised and no good for leisure use.

Quite interesting why that advert was/is still about ,that boat was for sale in marinetech in south walsham norfolks (mundlesey is norfolk too ) yard for a while 14k on a lifeboat launch trailer or 12.5 k without trailer ,it is now sold ,but i was watching it for a while ,couldnt believe it took so long too sell

On a seperate note i looked for a while without luck but i bought 5.3 in the end ,and so glad i did ,inboard tank is a big must have i reckon as well ,good luck !

I am in no rush and will wait for the right boat albeit I am flexible on what that is. It will be a single console on a 4.8m I guess. Not seen any others in a leisure version. I’ve had a 585 RC in the past and just sold my 5.4m searider, so ribcraft 4.8 is defo the one I’m looking for, although I’d also look at a 4.7 SR, even though they are equally as rare! [emoji51]. Flexible on the engine type and size as I’m not afraid to source a new engine as long as the numbers stack up on a long term investment.

You're right, they rarely come on the market. Last time I saw a 4.8m Ribquest for sale is when Hugo Montgomery-Swan (Editor of Powerboat and Rib Magazine) sold one after their round Ireland trip.

Best place to look for them is probably the Ribcraft Owners Group on Facebook as people often asking if there would be interest if they sold them and they tend to go before they are advertised elsewhere!

Hi Ribsta, I have a lightly used 2009 ribcraft 4.8, double jockey seat, blue tubes, white hull. New SBS trailer thats never been in water. 300hrs Honda 60hp. Engine just had OEM parts full service. Impeller / engine oil / leg oil / spark plugs / oil filer / fuel filter / water separator.

Spent close to £1k getting the electrics to battery redone and various re-wiring during service. New upholstery. Complete cut back and polish and wax. Looks and is mint. In Guildford if you are interested. Circa £9k
