Good second hand ones are like rocking horse shit though.. which is why we ended up buying new. We didn't end up with an RC though cos the man at the boat show said a 585 with a DF 140 on would prolly go over 1800.
Hope you find summat, their a crackin boat.

Jim Robinson from Bembridge Marine was selling a 2000 model for a client when we were looking in May last year. A bit of a project but in running order. Don't know wether this is sold.
I haven't weighing our RC585 but not as heavy as the caravan when towing and sits on a 1500kg Meridith and Eyre axle.

The one we went to look at in Plymouth was sat on a 2 ton rated trailer. Vendor said that was what they all came out the factory on. They maybe build in a bit of redundancy, but I'll admit it gave me pause...

Jbt put my 6.8 on their lift before i bought the trailer and it was just over 1200kg with half tank of fuel.
When I spec'd up a new 585 it was coming with a 1500 trailer.
Cheers

Is that the one in Edinburgh somewhere? It's been on for a while if it is.
