It's been replaced by a location restriction - has to be within a 20 mile radius I approve, it keeps our eager lads busy and out of mischief.

Kathy, what exactly to you intend to do with the rig. The types of boat that you have shortlisted are all essentailly yacht tenders and really quite limited in ability.

If you could push it slightly to a 4m Searider/Ribcraft/Humber, you'd have a capable rig that wouldn't become scarey should the sea build beyond flat.

I know a lady who bought a 3.8m Zodiac Yachtline for herself and two kids, it was so ill-suited to her needs, it was used three times and then sold.

Tell me more about this deal, I pay 1800 odd quid for my trailer space regardless of what size boat I put in it, would be interested as I'm up for renewal soon.

On a trailer? doubt it, the only dinghy storage they offer is if it's on your boat! unless it's going to stay in the water with an existing boat on a contract.

I'm at Chichester Marina, excellent place if you can cope with the drive out of the harbour. I pay about £1800 p/a

It would be cheaper along in Littlehampton, and a couple of options available, but you don't have the harbour scenery or any scenery really, not a very exciting coastline some may suggest. It depends on what your after.

I have a 9 year old, nuff said! Been at Chichester since 2001, kinda like a second home - I did think about sticking it on Sparks but getting off Hayling Island can be hell on a sunny day.

Hi,
I have a avon searider 4m for sale, it has a 50hp but sounds like it may be too large for your needs. It is a top boat, engine and trailer package and would come in well in your price range. It is older than 3 years though.
Let me know if you want more info.
