Moob wave
It took me years to find one. In the end I bought a complete boat on ebay then sold the engine abd trailer. the hull wound up costing me about 1500 quid which I was happy with as it's very sound.
Compared to the 5.4 they are massive by the way much wider and heavier construction and its going to need a lot more power by the way
Good luck with your search keep the faith and you'll get there.
I Guess I'd best change my name to moob wave if Matt H prophesy is accurate

There were a couple on FAFB last year. They do come up occasionally, and more than likely will be project-material. For example: GRP - FAFB
Try North West Trading (Aberdeenshire). They buy is surplus stock from offshore industry.

easily takr twin 90's but I'm thinking of going for an opti 225xl which i think will perk it up a lot. however it does run OK with a 90 and there ample power for cruisin but the thrils wont come until after 150hp
TimM runs one I'm not sure what power he uses but hed be good to ask about power

I've just put a pair of Yam 50 4-strokes on mine after the 60s were stolen. She's not quick but she's got a bit of grunt. Haven't clocked her with the GPS yet. Not sure I'd want any less power. However perfectly usable with 50s on. I prefer twins - putting a single on an SR6 is a bit like buying a 2WD Freelander! That said RWs 225 Opti sounds like fun!

Hi, I'm on the lookout for an SR6 too, although not a project. I did find these two which you may have missed.
rib for sale For Sale in Cork : €18,000 - DoneDeal.co.uk
Avon SR6 RIB Used Boat for Sale | TheYachtMarket
The second one at £22000 is the most expensive I've seen so far which got me thinking, what would be the cost of a brand new SR6 if bought from Avon? Sorry if this is a noob question but I genuinely have no idea of the price of a new Searider.
