I'm looking for a used twin engine RIB that can be used as a chase boat on the great lakes for kite boarding lessons and diving. Max I'd like to pay is around 20k. Will likely only have 1-2 people max in the boat at one time. I'd like the twin engine for the redundancy factor. I'm not looking for a project but a very reliable boat and trailer.
You might consider a diesel inboard. High reliability and easier entry with a swim step on the back.
Actually redundancy with twin outboards is an undertaking, separate fuel and electrical systems. Also significant fuel consumption increase if you're looking at this as a business.
16 to 24 feet range. I'm open to suggestions and if the diesel is a better option then I'd consider that too. It will be used in heavy seas with high winds close to shore so can't have any issues

I have (2) Avon 6 meters. (1) has twin 70hp and (1) has twin 90hp. Both have rebuilt Yamaha engines. The one with the 90's has not been rigged yet. This hull was recently retubed with the original commercial tube specifications.
