looking to purchase 2nd hand VSR 4.9 (or cheaper copy, I am not fussy as long as design right) for opti coaching... open to any offers within Europe as travelling regularly for regattas, but budget wont be mad :-)

aware they are not available new anymore but it may suit a coach outhere to let his go for a larger version

any help appreciated.

Don't bother - terrible boats!

Look at a Ribcraft, Ribtec or a Tornado.

VSR = Very S&&t Ribs.

Unstable, uncomfortable and exactly the same wash as a regular rib.

Yes and as I remember the design brief for the vsr was to be light so it could double stack on a dinghy trailer and still be operable as a coach boat with a smaller engine.

They import a copy of the VSR - I really don't like them but they do have quite a few there and they'll bring you one in / sell you a 2nd hand one
