I would forget about any preconceptions you might have about the standard of workmanship etc
I don't own a Parker but have been on board quite a few. When I did a ground-up refit on my Halmatic, after much thought I selected a Parker Neptune console and jockey seats for the boat.
As a welder/fabricator of 20 years I can honestly say I was impressed by the quality of the stainless work, grabrails/seatbacks etc. The GRP work was similar as well, excellent finish and a hefty lay-up.
My only complaint would be the number of jigsaw blades I went through cutting up the dash to fit my electronics (an inch thick in the right places)

I'm from Poland I assure you that quality is ok. Only problem which I had was with extraordinary A-frame (for diving purpose) but they change for new (smallest) and is ok. My suggestion... take standard solutions - they are well check out, forget about diesels take min 2xMerc 300hp or better Verado 2x350 sci.
Best

If there is another commercial 9m RIB (with the exception of the Zodiac MachII) as well built as the Parker, I must have missed it (and I tried most of them). I would not hesitate to order another.
Rather than it being made in Poland being a negative, consider it a very strong positive. The vast majority of the laminating/glass guys at Sunseeker are from Poland.
However if I had the extra £100K+ to spare I might just buy the Zodiac ....

I hear what your saying guys, and take it on board, its not the quality that was in doubt, its the fact that if I were to have a problem???, then its got to be harder to resolve than if the company were based in the uk??? love to hear your thoughts regards Mark

Marky,
Andre is a highly regarded trade member on here. I've never seen a bad report on a Parker on this site which either means that the boys in Poland are getting it right first time or Andre's doing a great job at aftersales so nobody comes on here ranting. Either way its a great sign. If you search the forums you'll find some very informative posts including build threads showing what goes on inside the factory too.
Given some of things we've seen on here in the last few years with transoms delaminating, holes in the deck not properly sealed, seats stuck in with bathroom sealant etc. I certainly wouldn't assume that "British Made" is a sign of quality. Although I can see your point about return to base repairs, in reality dragging your boat back to whichever factory its made in will be a complete PITA anywhere that's not on your doorstep (ask Bruce B if he's enjoyed towing his Humber back to Hull, or Pikey Dave why he didn't take his Ribcraft back to Yeovil for them to fix). Indeed it might well be that Parker are more likely to recognise that towing a boat all the way back to Poland for half a day's work would be crazy and arrange for someone local to do the warranty work, whereas a British builder will say "just bring it back" without really considering the impact of 2 days of travelling!

I had a 9m Parker from Andre, great build quality, easy to deal with, had no issues with it in the two years I owned it. First trip out was into a Force 7/8 across the English Channel to bring it home. Fantastic Ribs!!

Got my Parker 630 last year. Its a 2007 ex-demo. Did 120 hrs this year, incl 3 trips out to Helgoland, and one to Denmark.
Last trip, to Denmark, in company with 3other ribs of much larger size. Back in a 28kn headwind. I maintained 22kn, the others went down to 12. And we were sitting.
Build quality is generally good and rugged. Only minor items not up to BMW or Mercedes standard :-)
