Wanted 5-5.7 M deep V wide beam - Ribcraft 5.3, Osprey Viper, Ribtec or similar

Hi,

Thanks for all your input and assistance, went for a Ribcraft 5.3 with a 90 etec on it in the end...

Got it home last week, going through her and updating fuel filter to a water separating version and lines (dated 2009) etc.. as we can only get E10 and want to avoid fuel related problems, got other small jobs to do but basically ready to go in the water..

Long shot but has anyone got a dive style ladder kicking around that might work for me?

i have a ladder thats on a small platform bolts onto the transom kicking about somewhere its a stainless telescopic ladder that folds into a small swim platform approx a foot square very sturdy and easy to use .only thing is it bolts to the transom usually where an aux outboard would go ( the reason i took it off the valiant rib it was on )

Really want deck space more than seating, preferably two side by side up front with a wide console… Happy to remove seats to get the space needed.

Wanted for easy launching when needed during the winter use runabout while bigger boat is out of the water..

I've owned a pair of those engines previously, and managed to blow the EMM on both of them, at a grand a go. They are VERY sensitive to having their 12v supply interrupted - make sure that you have solid connections all the way from the battery and NEVER switch the 12v power supply off with the engine is powered on. It's really easy to do this when checking charging switches or isolators. In my case a loose battery connection and injudicious use of the isolator did the damage. You'll struggle to find a replacement EMM now, so if you get the chance, maybe grab one.

At that price I would cover the isolator with a label i had to move to get to it......"switch OFF"

i have a completely rebuilt osprey 6m viper

it has new 2022 tubes in white and black new wide console 2 luxury XO swivel seats for the helm and at the moment has a double seat on console and a seat on top the front locker. I have not fitted any more seats because this was designed and built for room.
the engine is Yamaha latest f80d 1832cc fantastic on fuel and so quiet. Trailer is mint being a bramber easy launch recover 2011 hardly been used. I would sell with out engine if neede as i would keep it and put it on my next boat which is a fletcher 19 sportscruiser cuddy. the whole thing been used very little. regards John 07758218962
