Keep an eye on this, engine is worth £1200+. Outfits put people off but forget the boat, sell it on and this could be some deal...

Why should it be a scam?? Guy has good feedback over a long period, he has paperwork from new etc. Regardless, the only way you buy a boat/engine at the end of the day from *any* ad (be it eBay, B&O, Gumtree, local rag) is to go and see it, talk to the guy, check it out and collect paying cash. If you can't speak to him on the phone first to ask questions and arrange a viewing then forget it. You would never actually bid on a boat on eBay if you have any sense, just treat it as a classified ad and do a deal 'outside' eBay.

Yep, IMHO this one isn't a scam. The cash on pick up only would not be there if it wasn't real. +the area is Cumbria, great Sibbing on the doorstep.

18Hp any use, or too big? Physically the same as a Tohatsu 15 (and 9.9), but bigger capacity.
