Wanted: Around 6m RIB

Hi all,

I'm currently on the lookout for approximately a 6m RIB.

Fairly open minded at present with manufacturers, but would prefer UK based. I think the only exception would be South African based. I've just sold my Gemini GRX 420, so a Gemini WR600 or similar would be a good boat.

Engine wise, I would like a 4 stroke, but would be happy with a 2 Stroke DFI if its been maintained correctly, ideally not a standard 2 stroke unless it was priced accordingly.

I'm based in Lymington, so anything on the south coast would be a bonus. I would be using it for family days out in the Solent with my wife and nearly 4 year old daughter.

You are well placed to visit Berthon, they are the Gemini importers - they should be able to sort you out.

Thanks both. The Gemini you linked is probably a bit small, and I would probably be willing to pay around £ 6 - 7k for that particular one.

I should have mentioned I was hoping to pay around £10k for the purchase.

Berthon won't be able to supply me one for that, unfortunately.

Hey Rob,

I am just getting ready to put our Yam 550 up for sale, if thats of any interest. We have had it for a couple of years (and had an identical one before that) which we have done many trips from Poole to IoW and along the south coast on with our 2 children.

It has a Yamaha F100 on the back, loads of storage on board, chart plotter, VHF with DSC, Fusion twin speaker bluetooth radio.

It has a 2022 trailer complete with LED lighting. We just upgraded to a slightly bigger boat as the kids are growing.
