I just sold my Ribeye 500 in 1 day!!! still in shock really as I would not have minded keeping it, however I am both upgrading & downgrading.
Downgrading to the SIB world - something I can keep in the back of car & throw in the water. No slips, fill up at supermarket in a remote tank, 20e per day fuel bills, can access snorkelling bays & caves by rowing & no worries about dinging the prop.
Upgrading to something bigger that can broach the waves but haven't decided yet.
Budget around £16k. Could stretch a little for right boat. After clean, tidy, rib with usual trailer, cover, VHF etc
This is how it starts.
I started with a similar budget and ended buying a new 650 (which I'm delighted with). It seems that good second hand ones go extremely quickly - as noted above.
I was after a Ribeye in 2006 then I came across the Cobra Nautique ... similar but far superior ... I went for the Cobra ... and now Im upgrading so its for sale
