WTB: short RIB 2.4m(8’)-3m(10’) with damaged hull - in North America

WANTED: short RIB 2.4m(8’)-3m(10’) with decent tubeset but a damaged hull. I am in North America.

I am a fish biologist with specialization in ecotoxicology. I will need to cut large holes through the hull of a small rib so I can mount sensors and sampling equipment. I would cry if I did this to a new RIB and I also do not have the money for new. My hope is someone has a damaged hull with a decent tubeset. Given I need to cut large holes out of the hull and reinforce them, it might be no burden for me to use a RIB/tender with an otherwise unrepairable damaged hull . It is a shot in the dark, but this project is funded out of pocket (not for work) as part of my unpaid sabbatical/vacation in a couple years (if COVID ever ends). I prefer fiberglass but am a hobby welder so i could try aluminum; might get too hot for the tubes?

HDAV, belated thanks. Yes i use searchtempist to search craigslist every other day. Few will ship. None are local. Most have bad tubesets but decent hulls. I realize it is a rare combo to wait for. Busy finishing up projects, so not in a hurry, but persistent.
