Zapcat

Looking at getting my hands on a zapcat.

Any ideas where the best place to look is.

My budget is not huge - £2200 ish.

Cheers

For that price I reckon you'll be looking at a raced one.

I've found that people that buy Zap/Thundercats for the 'fun' tend never to sell them, mainly ones that come up for sale have been raced.

Not saying that this is a hard thing, just that the engines will have had a hard life

Thanks for the advice - you got any contacts who may have a raced zapcat?

Cheers

I have a secondhand Mako Thundercat for sale with a rocco tilting trailer. The Thundercat is almost identical to a Zapcat.
I want £1300 for it with the trailer, their are no repairs and no leaks.
PM me if you would like some further details.

Regards
Howy

You got any photos?

You got an engine?

What are the differences between a thundercat and a zapcat?

Cheers

Go to www.thundercats.co.uk and find an emal contact there. If there's a Thundercat about for sale, they'll know!

PS. Not sure why you're buying the cat (pleasure or racing) but as a 'community' the Thundercats are a much better option. The Thundercats.co.uk crew are amazing - they spent a weekend in Ireland last summer and the 'craic' we had was unreal... there was a bit of racing too

Hello Mark.

You can only race zapcats in the zapcat championship, but zapcats, thundercats and any other manufacturer (providing it meets the requirements) can be raced in the thundercat championship.

Apart from that they're essentially the same. So unless you want to race it it doesn't really matter. But you have to let me have a go if you get one!
