Avon Searider 5.4
Finally I am 99.9% there with this build! Not like the other guys on here! Launching next week for sea trials.

This is my SR 5.4 that I am having a go at doing up to a respectable condition. Bought the basic hull. Had 4 layers of paint (2 of which were twin pack type). Scraped and sanded down to bare hull. Exposed some wear and tear that needed to be re-gelled. Pictures start from there and I will gradually add as the project goes on. Deadline is end of March for the season!

Polished Hull, polish transom next.
With the trailer I managed to pick up.
Transon gelled and ready for wet n' dry the buffing. Notice I took the opportunity to plug the standard navy spec centre drain hole. I will never...
Polished Hull
First view of the re-gelled and polished hull. You can now see a shine and reflection!
Topside of boat. Needs new rope handles and console to go in. (Possibly an engine too :-))
Hull stripped bare, ready for re-gel and polish
