Im reaching out to you today as ive just purchased a 5.4 m Stingray twin hull and i noticed that you mentioned you knew them well. Im hoping you can help me with a few questions i have.
Im planning on leaving the boat in a pen over the summer and potentially all year round. The only issue is that the twin hulls don’t have any sort of inspection hatch to look into the bilge although they do have bungs lower than the deck height. Im thinking of cutting into the deck and installing some hatches and bilge pumps however this potentially could weaken the hull structure or even worse put a hole in the hull.
Im wondering if I could get some sort of hull drawings from the stingray guys in South Africa so I can figure out the best place to do this and if it’s viable?
Any help you could provide would be great. or should i be posting this as a thread ?
