Anyone fancy a blast soon, maybe lunch at Joe's cafe or wherever.

Could be up for it, depends when you are thinking of.
Currently I have a big hole in my console where my chartplotter used to be, should find out soon whether it is trashed or not. don't think that will stop me though :D

If it's lack of boat Nos, I have spare seats

whisper 19 February 2012 18:55

I've sent Joe's Cafe a message, Shell bay cafe is closed until March. Any other ideas?

Thanks very much for the offer Ian,but it's a mixture of trying to max the overtime to put the money back I spent on the new boat and having work to do on absolutely everything round here having neglected it all over the winter while doing too much overtime.

Jessk9 19 February 2012 20:42

Is it just ribs or can sibs join in as well 😃

I can give you a lift down if you can get the time off?

I'm not sure, I've never had a 4m sib, but Pete may be better to advise?

Swanage sounds great, I would really like to go there... cod and chips please

Oscarguitar 20 February 2012 09:04

I could be up for that . F+C in Swanage sounds like a good plan. Reasonable water all day. Which day are you thinking of going?

Sure they can . If its too rough for SIBs out of the harbour ( which is unlikely if its a SW wind) there is always the Wareham option.

I'm assuming launch from Baiter ......and as for the day - maybe the opposite day to when the England rugby match is on ?

Of course all depending on our great British weather ...

Avocet 20 February 2012 14:52

I'm up for this if I can scrounge a lift from someone at Swanage to get ashore and back to the boat (given the lack of shore mooring there for larger boats). England - Wales is at 4.00pm on the Saturday so we should be back by then anyway.

whisper 20 February 2012 16:19

Spoke to Trevor G and he can make Saturday too so it looks like Saturday 25th

whisper 22 February 2012 17:47

I got a message back from Joe's Cafe and they are open every weekend (weather permitting)

Got me new gopro on the A frame too :D
