LED Lights
 

Hello fellow boaters. After replacing my gauge and fuel management system It's time for a new project on my Zodiac Yachtline 380. I saw this video here and would love to install these blue LEDs. Can any one point me in the right direction?? (would have asked the ? on youtube but for some reason I can't post comments at the moment).

Marine LEDs are available from many many places. I used Lumitec lights as they were red and white in the same unit and didn't need special controllers for that. They also come in blue. I really like their Rail and Mini-rail lights.

Thanks... I know there is a lot of led lighting for boats but I was curious for more specific towards the zodiac. I'll take a look at these. Thanks again!

I bought some self adhesive waterproof leds in 5m strips off ebay for my centre console, they have been faultless in what I would call a very wet boat for the last 4 years. Unfortunately I cant come up with anywhere to put them in my Zodiac without them dazzling me.

I also have underwater leds which are great for attracting fish at night and finding the boat while night diving.

Cost $7 per 5m strip (3.50 quid) ebay

If you're looking for turnkey light fixtures, you're going to spend a lot of money. For some reason, pre-designed LED fixtures are silly expensive (moreso if you get anything that has had "Marine" printed on the box.)

The LED strips/modules themselves are not all that much and they're available in waterproof versions (or you can coat them for moisture protection), nor are the drivers or dimmers (if needed.) If you do-it-yourself, you probably won't end up with a job that looks as finished as a turnkey, purchased fixture, but you'll save a good chunk of change.

I doubt there are any solutions that are Zodiac specific. Not enough of a market to justify design.
