I’ve owned several ribs and the adventure was the worse of them all.
It certainly does not have a deep V and it is definitely not suited to rougher...

Only nip them up in opposite order on the jack.
Then drop on to floor and give a final good tighten by hand, in opposite order, with an extendable 18” wrench.
